Today marks the official beginning of the first NC Space Grant summer program at Appalachian State University. Three students are participating with various faculty in research projects around the Department of Physics and Astronomy with topics ranging from astronomy to nanotribology. The program will last 10 weeks over the summer giving students the chance to learn about and conduct research in their field of choice.
